Stop (1982—1992)

Stop is a common advertisement deck for a defunct brand of pastilles. The slogan on the deck reads "STOPPI EI PETÄ" (eng. "Stop won't let you down"), which is no doubt some kind of an innuendo. The brand was known for being quite provocative with their sexualised advertising on the TV, featuring hot women in their commercials. This was to court a more mature audience, and was a way to try to get a leg-up over another legacy Finnish pastille brand, Sisu.

Dating this deck is not easy, because the branding, while distinct, is both under-documented and changed minimally over the years. The production of these pastilles ended in 1992, and as far as I could find, 1982 was the earliest instance of this specific font on the Stop logo, so I believe this is the closest estimate I can come to.
